My Fellow Americans,
Please stop using "freedom of speech" as an excuse to be a complete jerk.
Just because you can say something does not mean you should.

Crash
Well, I guess this is the crash after the adrenaline rush. I'm not sure how long I expected it to last this time.
I managed to make it the whole weekend plus 2 1/2 school days without anything going terribly wrong, so that's a plus. Guess I'll just pick up where I started and go for 3 days this time even though giving up seems very, very appealing right now.

It's the simple things.
Today consisted of:
-watching people's presentations on alternative energy sources in AP Environmental Science,
-talking about los IncreĆbles in Spanish class (and finally standing up to a guy who constantly makes racist remarks...with the teacher on my side :D)
-reviewing for a precalculus test tomorrow
-listening to judges' tapes from our band competition this weekend.
-making dinner with my mom
-homework
On paper, it looks like just another day, but it was actually so much more.
It was one of the best days of my life.
Why? Because I decided to get off my arse and start enjoying life again.
I think it's one of the best decisions I've made in a while.

Dear Facebook,
Why is it that the more your customers tell you that they do NOT enjoy feeling like stalkers, the more stalker-prone notifications you add to their News (and now Live) Feed.
Seriously?!
I thought things were getting a little stalkerish when I was informed of everyone's relationship status change.
(At least that one gave me something to talk about, though. Don't judge me. You know you do it too.)
Then came the new News Feed that showed me people's Wall conversations. WTF, mate?! I mean, I know it's public since it's on Facebook, but that doesn't mean I want people's "LOLs" and "I love you :)"s all over my front page. It's getting in the way of the juicy stuff.
Now, Facebook, what are you even thinking with this Live Feed.
Why do I need to know that Susie Q. is now friends with Tommy Turbinblaster, someone I'm 100% sure I do. not. know.?
At least the relationship changes and Wall conversations make SENSE.
Now, I think you're just pushing our buttons to see how much we'll put up with before leaving.
Jerks.

Oink, Oink
So, apparently, a large number of people at my school have a virus that's imitating the swine flu.
My first onset of symptoms were on Wednesday, so I'm hoping it's coming to an end.
When the second wave of the swine flu scare came around, I kept hearing one key phrase:
"I heard it's not even that bad."
Yeah?
Compared to what?
Having one of those creepy Alien babies crawl out of your stomach?
Yeah, compared to that, it's not that bad at all.
However, the worst sicknesses I've ever had are bronchitis (which I hardly remember) and strep (which I had when I was about 8, and was over in 2-3 days.)
Luckily, I got sick over our Fall Weekend (break from school from this past Thursday to this upcoming Monday), so I'm not missing any school.
I just realized that I've eaten once in the past 3 days. eek.
Anywhoozle, I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got some PSAT to study for.
:)
